I wrote a book and it was so much easier to proofread and correct on a paper copy. My eye could catch the mistakes better. The spell check was a key partner.

I would be lost without spellcheck!

I like to print out the ms and pen the edits. First pass is on the computer, but 2nd, 3rd, etc. are on paper. I change the font to fool my eyes that it's fresh. It works!

Ooh, I might have to try that font trick!

How about The Daily Munch for a newspaper? Up here, we hit 70 yesterday in Bangor, breaking the record by eight degrees. We're being serenaded by the dulcet sound of our cellar sump pump, and I saw a mosquito with training wheels yesterday, so the hatch is impending.

As I write this it’s actually swelteringly hot in the house, but thankfully it looks like tomorrow’s weather will be more March-like. I’m not quite ready for summer! Hmm, Daily Munch, I’ll have to think it over.

I’m excited and excited for you! Happy for all the great news! Enjoy the warm weather and daffodils.😘

I'm also a better paper-proofreader. I also prefer to read "real" books, although traveling without my Kindle would feel like missing a part of me (I might need 62 books for a 4-day work trip, right?!) and I keep a folio planner. It just makes more sense to my brain. iPhone Reminders are great, though!

Oh I am a paper planner person too!

looking forward to reading your short story.
