It’s one of those weird weeks, where I never seem to know what day of the week it is. I believe it’s Wednesday, but it doesn’t really feel like Wednesday. The Christmas gifts have been unwrapped and the refrigerator is full of leftovers because I always end up cooking entirely too much food for two people. I baked a fresh batch of Christmas cookies, to make up for last week’s fiasco, and I’m happy to report that they came out MUCH better than my first attempt.
I promised to share the photos from this year’s photo Christmas card so here’s the the front of the card:
and here’s the back:
We had a lot of fun snapping the pictures for this year’s card. Without a professional photographer on hand we opted for filming some video, and grabbing the best still images we could find for use on our card. If any of the neighbors were watching us, I don’t know what they must have thought.
Just to be clear, we did not hire an actual Yeti for our Christmas card! (Our cards have become ridiculously elaborate, but not yet that elaborate.) Thanks to the miracles of stock photo sites and photo editing we were able to edit this monstrous character into our card.
On that score, I’m delighted that more than one reader of this little newsletter at first glance thought that I had a live donkey in my basement. I’m also a little concerned that you think I’m that eccentric!
Well, there is much to do during this shortened week. So, I’ll keep it brief. I hope that you enjoyed your Christmas celebrations, and I wish you and your loved ones a happy and healthy New Year!

My apologies for the typos and such this post is almost certainly riddled with.
Love your Christmas card - so very clever. Have a safe and Happy New Year.
Happy holidays! John really liked the shirt you designed, so thanks again!
